The magic of Disney meets the thrill of running in one of the most anticipated events of the year. The 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is set to take place from January 9 – 12, 2025, offering a unique opportunity to challenge yourself while supporting a worthy cause.

While general registration for the event is sold out, there’s still a chance to participate through non-profit organizations. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s Team Club Kid has a limited number of spots available for runners who want to make a difference and join the race.

By joining Team Club Kid, you’re not just running for yourself, you’re running to support youth in Osceola County. To participate as a member of Team Club Kid, we ask that you raise the Minimum Fundraising Goal, denoted on the BGCCF registration page, for your run by December 13, 2024.

‘Tis the season for spreading holiday cheer! We need YOUR help to make this festive time merry and bright for our Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida (BGCCF) families. 🎄

This year, our Holiday Gift Drive is all about giving back and sharing joy with those in need. From donating gifts to volunteering your time, every little bit helps to create a season of smiles.

So, don your elf gear and let’s make this holiday season one to remember! Here’s how you can sprinkle some holiday magic into the lives of others through our Holiday Gift Drive opportunities.

HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE 🎁

One way to support our families is through our annual Holiday Gift Drive. Local businesses, organizations, and individuals can spread holiday cheer by donating gifts to community members who could use a little extra support.

Our dedicated Club staff work closely with Club families to create wish lists that include everything from age-appropriate toys to clothing items and household necessities. We then match our generous Holiday Drive donors with these wish list items.

DEADLINES & DROP-OFF DETAILS

Please submit interest forms no later than Friday, November 29, 2024.

The drop-off window is December 2-10, 2024.

All drop-off times for organizations are by appointment to ensure a smooth drop off process. Drop-off appointments will be during the hours of 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Holiday Cheer Team will contact you directly to schedule your drop off and Club location.

Please keep gifts unwrapped, labeling gifts with the intended Club Member age range.

NOTE FOR GIFT SHOPPING

When selecting gifts for our Club Members please be sure to avoid toys that promote any form of violence.

To encourage fair distribution for our Club members, please consider purchasing toys within the suggested gift value range of $25 – $50.

We also have opportunities to fulfill gift wishes for our Clubs (please see our Club wish list for their wishes).

If you would like to bundle several smaller gifts for one child, please be sure to group them together in a holiday or plastic bag.
